Opened in the Fall of 2005, Pekin's newest park is located on the banks of the Illinois River, at the foot of Court Street in Downtown Pekin.  This four acre park offers numerous things for the outdoor enthusiast: boat ramps with free car/boat trailer parking; a riverfront pier for observation, a fishing pier, and several lookout points for birding and wildlife viewing.  This is also the start of Pekin's paved biking and hiking trail. 

For the children, there is the Spirit of Columbia Steamboat play area, as well as an interactive water feature for kids of all ages to enjoy.  Two gazebos are available for picnics, as well as an event meadow, numerous grills, benches and picnic tables.
